Welcome! Thank you for choosing to engage Tiny to the Max, LLC™ for professional organizing services. I look forward to working with you to transform your home.
Removing Distractions
It is important that you and I focus on your session. Please arrange in advance for handling incoming phone calls, re-directing visitors, pets, childcare, etc. so that sessions are not interrupted.
In-Person Organizing
When the Client chooses to have services provided in their home, the Client will remove any weapons, illegal substances, or personal items to somewhere we will not be working. The Client agrees to not wear any perfume or cologne during the appointment, as I am allergic, and to not smoke. The Client also agrees to secure pets in another room before I or any assistants enter your home.
During the session, we will take a 15–20-minute paid lunch break whenever the session occurs over lunch time.
My personal safety and health are important, and I take them into account when I make decisions about our sessions. In the event we discover hazardous materials (such as evidence of rodents), I may need to stop organizing, depending on the severity of the situation, until the hazardous materials are professionally cleaned. If I feel I can proceed with the use of a N- 95 mask and gloves, I will do so at an increased rate of $20 additional per hour for organizing involving the hazardous space, and the same additional $20 per hour will apply to each assistant’s rate when working with assistants.
Virtual Organizing
The Client can choose to have services provided virtually by using phone, email, screen sharing, photos, video conferencing, and other tools. The Client provides permission for virtual sessions to be recorded. Recording sessions allows us to focus on the meeting and not have to take so many notes. Recordings will be kept confidential unless the Client provides express written permission.
Communication + Hours
We will communicate in between sessions by email. I check my email twice per business day. Texting should only be used in emergencies, to tell me you need a time-sensitive response to your email, or communications on the day of an appointment. I will communicate with you via phone or text on the day of an appointment. Any organizing questions that take more than a few minutes will be answered by email or an organizing session. If by email, after you provide permission, work will be billed in 15-minute increments, at a rate of $100 per hour.
Reasonable Care
I will use reasonable care in the performance of all my duties. I will not throw anything out or delete anything without the Client's permission. I help the Client make decisions, but the final decision is always yours. Thus, the Client is responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the discarding or destruction of any property – physical or digital. The Client agrees to make final decisions about disposition of items.
If applicable, you are responsible for furnishing a list of specific items you do not want me to touch or move. You will inform me if any work will be done on someone else’s property, and you are responsible for obtaining permission to work on their things prior to getting started, except in the case of your minor children or persons you are a legal guardian of.
Tiny to the Max, LLC™ may subcontract services to trusted third parties in order to implement services within a reasonable period of time.
Performance + Delivery Guarantee
I strive to meet a level of 100% Client satisfaction. It is my responsibility to analyze your situation, teach you appropriate new skills, and help you make the changes you want. If I fail to meet any realistic expectations, I will schedule a complimentary session (of length to be determined) to make any necessary adjustments.
All claims must be submitted in writing by email within 7 business days after the last session with detailed descriptions of what work or parts of the project were not completed or satisfactorily executed. Failure to make a claim within 7 business days implies that the Client fully accepts the completed work.
If, after returning to the project any issues on which the Client has made claims, the Client remains dissatisfied, the unused remainder of pre-paid in-person services (if any) will be refunded. At no time will a refund be given for work or portions of a package completed to the Client's satisfaction. Because of the nature of virtual sessions where I have limited control over the outcome, virtual services are non-refundable.
Methods + Terms of Payment
Work will be billed in 15-minute increments, at a rate of $100 per hour. Prior to organizing sessions where we work together, payment is due in full 48 hours before the start of the session. If payment is not received within 48 hours before a scheduled appointment, Tiny to the Max, LLC™ can give the appointment slot to another Client, and the Client will need to reschedule. Organizing that I do outside of sessions will be invoiced weekly for work done during the week, which is due upon receipt.
Payments for services are non-refundable, except for unsatisfactory work as outlined above under “Performance & Delivery Guarantee” or if I cancel services and there are any unused pre-paid services, in which case I will provide written notice.
Purchased sessions expire 6 months after purchase. Unused prepaid services can be transferred to another person or business, if before the 6-month expiration date. However, the Client cannot transfer this User Agreement to any other parties. New parties will need to agree to the User Agreement for the services.
Any sums not received within 30 days of invoice date will incur a 1.5 percent per month service charge until paid in full. The Client agrees that if unpaid bills are turned over for collection, the Client will pay all costs incurred, including attorney fees.
Purchasing Products +Tools
Clients are responsible for paying for all agreed-upon organizing and storage products and digital programs and services (email automation service, project management tool, etc.) necessary for the completion of the project. I will make suggestions about what products and tools should be purchased and the Client will decide whether the Client will do the purchasing, or the Client will provide me with their credit card information to make purchases on their behalf. Clients must contract directly with such service providers. I take no responsibility - and Clients agree to hold me harmless - for the actions or performance of other service providers. Receipts for funds spent on Client's behalf will be provided.
Cancellations + No Shows
When a Client books an appointment with me, that time is reserved exclusively for them and becomes unavailable for anyone else to use. If for some reason you need to cancel an appointment, please give at least 48 hours advance notice so that others may take advantage of the available time. You agree to email me immediately if you need to cancel or reschedule, or text if it’s the same day. In the event you've booked a session that you need to cancel, rescheduling is complimentary, but the session is nonrefundable. If an appointment is canceled more than 48 hours before an appointment, or there is a true emergency or unforeseen illness, the cost of the appointment can be transferred to the rescheduled appointment.
If, for some reason – other than a true emergency – you do not show up for an appointment, you will be responsible for the full cost of the appointment. In the event you do not show, I will wait 15 minutes after the appointment time before leaving.
If I need to cancel an appointment, you'll receive a refund only for that session OR the option to reschedule. In the case of inclement weather, Tiny to the Max, LLC™ will follow the operating status of the federal government.
Photos + Videos
I will often take photos or videos of the spaces we work in to document the transformation and for reference for what the system looked like in the end so the Client can recreate it if it gets cluttered again. Client releases all rights to photos and videos and agrees that they may be used, without remuneration, for any purpose in any media in perpetuity. Tiny to the Max, LLC™ will ensure that the Client’s identity is not linked to the photos in any way unless the Client gives express written permission. Client agrees that Tiny to the Max, LLC™ shall own the copyright and all rights for such photographs and videos.
