Organizing Sessions
-
If you’re in the Washington, DC metro area, or the DMV as we call it, I’m ready to pack up my favorite organizing tools and head over to maximize your space. I currently service Arlington and Fairfax counties. Let’s work together to transform your home into a clutter-free calm space.
-
I take your safety and security seriously, which is why I am licensed, insured, and vaccinated against COVID-19, and I’ll wear a mask upon request. Plus, I always prioritize the safety of my clients and their belongings during our sessions and ensure that any personal information shared with me is kept confidential.
-
It all starts with a free consult call, where we'll chat about your goals and vision for your space. From there, we'll schedule a video call and work together to tackle your organizing goals. As with an in-person session, I'll guide you through the process, offer tips and advice, and keep you motivated along the way. Virtual sessions are typically shorter than in-person to prevent Zoom fatigue.
-
Virtual sessions can be good for saving money if you do homework in between or by pairing them with in-person organizing. They are also ideal if you are outside of my in-person service area (see above). You must be able to do the physical work yourself or have someone there who can, be comfortable with Zoom (or have someone who can help), have a phone, tablet, or laptop you can carry, and a strong Internet connection.
-
I love decluttering, downsizing, and all things tiny, but I’ll work my space-maximizing magic in any size space, big or small. Whether it's a cluttered closet or a chaotic office, I'll whip it into shape in no time. And for those larger in-person projects, no sweat! I'll bring along an assistant, or a few, so we can max out your organizing session and (more importantly!) every inch of your space.
-
I want to make it as easy as possible for you! Arrange to have distractions removed and relax. If the session is in person, please avoid wearing perfume or cologne (I’m allergic) and remove any personal items you don't want me to see, weapons, or illegal substances before we start.
Please don't do any extra cleaning before our session. I want to see the space just as it is in your day-to-day life so I can come up with the best solution for you.
If we're working on your closet or kitchen, it can be helpful to do some laundry or dishes ahead of time to have them available to organize, but no pressure! And if you have any photos or videos of the space you'd like to send beforehand, that's great too. But again, no pressure.
Can't wait to get started on maximizing your space!

I offer organizing sessions that are customized to fit your needs and schedule. Pick My Brain sessions are 1 hour long, Max Your Space virtual organizing sessions can be 1 to 2 hours, and Max Your Space in-person organizing lasts between 3-5 hours. I believe that progress is progress, no matter how big or small, and I want to make the most of our time together to help you achieve your organizing goals. I'll work with you to create a plan that fits your unique situation and time + budget constraints.
